LimNexus is pleased to be a sponsor of a mentorship conference for Korean American professionals and students, offered by Berkeley Law School’s Korea Law Center, and the Council of Korean Americans (CKA), scheduled for Saturday, October 29, 2016. The one-day conference, to be held at Berkeley School of Law, brings together experienced professionals from business, finance, academia, public service, life sciences and the legal profession to discuss their experiences and offer advice to the next generation. LimNexus partner, Phillip Shinn, will speak on a panel about the legal profession, which will be moderated by PG&E’s general counsel, Hyun Park. Fellow panelists will include Salle Yoo, general counsel of Uber Technologies; Andrew Kim, general counsel of Netgear; and the Honorable Sallie Kim, United States Magistrate Judge of the Northern District of California.
Afternoon panels will address Korean American identity and US – Korea issues. The speakers will come from the worlds of academia, the arts, non-profit organizations, government, and global industry.
Aspiring or practicing Korean American professionals and any interested organizations that serve the Korean American academic, business, professional, and public service communities are welcome to join the conference.
