Lim Ruger presented Rosa Noyola, a first year student at UCLA Law School of Law, with the third Lim Ruger Scholarship as part of the California Bar Foundation Diversity Scholarship program. Our Firm joins leading firms throughout the state in being a name sponsor of the California Bar Foundation’s scholarship program. The presentation at a reception on September 30 recognizes Ms. Noyola’s academic excellence and service to her community.
Rosa Noyola overcame obstacles of poverty and domestic violence while supporting her family and achieving academic success. In accepting the Lim Ruger scholarship she said: “Lim Ruger’s generous contribution has made a huge difference in my law school education. It is admirable that their professionalism extends beyond their clients and into the community. It is wonderful to see their commitment to creating diversity in the legal field. To know that such a professional and welcoming community awaits me in the future is deeply humbling. I intend to follow Lim Ruger’s example as I embark on my career as an attorney and contribute to the success of new generations of lawyers. Thank you Lim Ruger for honoring me with such great recognition.”
